Shutters on the Beach

Shutters on the Beach is a beautiful six-bedroom villa with a fantastic view on the island of St Martin, and incorporates all the aspects of classic French West Indies architecture along with a very worthy collection of Haitian Art.

The rooms of this spacious and airy villa are connected by large wooden decks and gardens. Shutters on the Beach is located at the beautiful Sandy Point Beach on the south west coast. Guests can enjoy relaxing on the expansive sun deck and enjoying the views or cooling off in the 1400 sq.ft. swimming pool. A small and separate sun deck is located just below the pool, and offers the perfect seclusion from which to enjoy the incredible ocean views.

The fully equipped kitchen opens directly out onto the outside wooden deck and onto the large lunch deck. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including  a refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, oven, microwave, gas cooktop, wine cellar, dishwasher and of course blender, toaster, coffee maker, bread machine and mixer. An organized laundry room is also equipped with large washer and dryer and an iron and ironing board.

Four bedrooms are located in the main house and each feature an en-suite bathroom. Three bedrooms have king-size beds and the fourth has twin beds. Two additional bedrooms are located slightly away from the house and have a private deck and beach access. These two bedrooms share a bathroom.

The TV and media room is a great place to relax in the evening. The high vaulted ceilings and sliding glass doors welcome in the cool Caribbean breeze. This room has a flat screen, a DVD Player, and a computer hard disc connected to the TV giving access to hundreds movies.
