St Bernards Hill House is a stunning five-bedroom villa set high upon a private hilltop with 360-degree views of the British and US Virgin Islands and the yachts dotted across the Caribbean Sea. Surrounded by lush landscaped gardens, this private 8-acre estate offers a full service of staff in a unique location on Tortola. The home has been tastefully decorated throughout lending a sense of colonial-style living.
St Bernards Hill House features a main house and bedroom pavilions outside the main living area. The main pavilion comprises of a richly decorated Great Room, a dining room for ten guests, a professional fully-equipped kitchen and an air-conditioned study with TV/DVD player and office facilities. The arched doorways lead out to a wrap-around veranda overlooking the cays and the glistening ocean. A few steps from the lawn area, guests will discover the infinity and pool deck. Also in the main pavilion is a seating area and bar area, whilst the Master Bedroom with four-poster king-sized bed is just beyond the living area. There is a spacious en-suite bathroom with double vanity, big tiled shower and freestanding bathtub. The French doors from the Master Suite lead out onto a cool outdoor private terrace with comfortable chaise lounges for two.
From the main entrance of the house, a walkway meanders through the gardens to the Oriental Cottage – an air-conditioned bedroom featuring king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The spacious veranda wraps around two sides of the cottage, lending a sense of privacy away from the main house.
The Contemporary & Caribbean Cottages are adjacent to the main pavilion. The two bedrooms are joined together by an interior hallway so is perfect to families with children, or can be kept separate for 2 couples. The Colonial Cottage has a beautiful four-poster queen-size bed and a wrap around veranda. These cottages have en-suite facilities, flat screen TV, DVD player, tea & coffee making facilities, small refrigerator, ipod docking stations and luxurious linens. Comfortably furnished verandas overlook the bustling marine activity below.
The rates include complimentary use of the Power Boat – a 30ft Luxury RIB Tender with fully licensed Captain, Snorkeling, Diving and Water Sports Equipment. Please note, guests have to pay the fuel costs of the boat.
