Bumper’s Nest at The Tryall Club encapsulates all that is synonymous with elegant Caribbean living with its lavish master cottage, handsome interiors and stunning views.
Bumper’s Nest is located within a three acre garden at the peak of Mahogany Hill and boasts views over the ocean and the legendary Tryall Club. It has been exquisitely decorated and designed to maximise the natural light and air flow as well as the panoramic views.
The property was originally a Spanish architecturally themed villa but has been updated and features include a large 50ft infinity pool, a large pool deck and a spacious Jacuzzi.
Four bedrooms are in the split level main house and each feature an en-suite bathroom and private terrace. Three offer king-size beds and the fourth bedroom has two queen beds. Two further bedrooms are located in the detached cottage which also has a gym and the Jacuzzi. The master bedroom has a white muslin draped king size bed and the guest room has 2 queen beds. Each has a large 400 sq. ft en-suite bathroom with marble showers and ultra-modern finishes. Both bedrooms have a private terrace with unobstructed views of the green hills and the Caribbean Sea.
There is ample places to relax around the villa from a large family/TV room with comfortable sofas to the covered outdoor living room or spacious pool deck. There is also an outdoor bar. A fire pit is located on the lawn and is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy cocktails and watch the sun set.
The villa rental includes a cook who can prepare meals using the villa’s own organic garden. Guests can choose to dine indoors in the formal dining room or outdoors. Other staff include a butler, maid and laundress plus a gardener.
The resort itself has a wealth of activities and amenities including watersports, spa and fitness centre.
The Great House – Guests have access to The Great House Restaurant and Bar. During the winter season, breakfast and dinner are served at the Great House Restaurant and during the summer months, dinner only. Guests can choose to dine by candlelight outside on the terrace overlooking the bay and the distant twinkling lights of Montego Bay or inside in the dining room. Each afternoon at four o’clock, afternoon tea is served on the veranda and terrace.
The Beach Café – Relaxed and informal and set beside the Tryall Club pier and overlooking the ocean, the Beach Café is a delightful lunch venue offering a choice of indoor or al-fresco seating. It is the perfect place to head to after a morning on the beach.
Golf is as much a part of The Tryall Club as the magnificent villas and the ocean views and is rated as one of the Caribbean’s finest.
Tennis is also a popular activity at The Tryall Club and has been since it was opened in 1959. With facilities that are ranked amongst the finest in the Caribbean, there are nine courts, 24 pros, hitting partners and ball boys in season as well as exceptional training facilities and a reputation that draws world champions as well as world championships.
