Situated upon one of Tuscany’s rolling hills, Villa Augusta is a sight to behold. Commanding a majestic position above the countryside, this elegant historic villa has been carefully managed by one of Italy’s premier aristocratic families.
The interior is just as grand as the exterior, boasting more than 1200 square metres of living space. Rooms are spacious and airy, with impressively high vaulted ceilings and countless heirloom furnishings including oil paintings, tapestries and Persian rugs, and Venetian glass chandeliers. On the ground floor, guests will discover a vast dining room where a huge fireplace and seating for twenty ensures the perfect mealtime. A further smaller dining room is also at hand for more intimate meals, as well as a large gourmet eat-in kitchen.
Upstairs, the remarkable living room takes centre stage, with elegant tapestries, beautiful yet cosy seating and a handsome piano for any budding musicians. Close by is a second smaller living room, an inviting TV room, a private chapel and a beautiful billiards room. Lastly, a grand reading room complete with antique library ensures that each guest can find their own preferred place to lounge.
Outside, the villa Augusta watches over beautifully manicured grounds, complete with a very well-proportioned swimming pool, a gazebo for al fresco lunches and numerous shaded areas for relaxation.

On the ground floor, guests will find two bedrooms. One is a master king bedroom with an en-suite featuring a shower, while the second is a master king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring a tub.
First Floor
On the first floor, there are four further bedrooms. One is a king bedroom with an antique poster bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, as well as a king bedroom with an antique poster bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and tub. There is also a terrace overlooking the park and the whole valley. Two smaller twin bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom with shower are ideally suited to teenagers
The beach resort of Forte Dei Marmi is a thirty-minute drive, plus the cities of Florence, Siena, and Lucca are within easy reach.
